Day 01 : Arrive at Cochin - Munnar
After arriving in Cochin, drive to proceed to Munnar, one of the most
popular hill stations in India is situated at the confluence of three
mountain streams. Throughout the journey enjoy beautiful streams of
small waterfalls, Rubber, Pepper cardamom and Tea plantations and thick
forests. On arrival at Munnar, check into the Hotel. Overnight stay at
the hotel in Munnar.
Day 02 : Munnar
After breakfast at the hotel and the whole day is reserved to enjoy
the beauty of Munnar, Like Mattupetty Lake & Dam, Echo Point,
Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden, The tea tasting and watching processing,
Tea Museum, etc. Also visit Rajamalai & Eravikulam national park.
This is the natural habitat of Nilgiri Tahr, you can also see rare
mountain goat. Marayoor, 40 Kms from Munnar , the only place in Kerala
that lays claim to the natural growth of Sandalwood, The Muniyara caves
with murals and relics from the new stone age civilization In the
evening return to the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 03 : Munnar - Thekkady
Morning after breakfast proceed to Thekkady and check into the hotel.
Thekkady is one of the Indias most fascinating wildlife sanctuaries,
where you can see and capture photographs of various species of animals,
birds and rich flora and fauna from close point. You can also go for a
boat cruise (optional) to observe the unique ecological feature and
finest wildlife reserve spreaded over acres and acres of land. In the
evening you can go for a spice plantation tour (optional) to see crops
of cardamom, pepper, coffee, cinnamon and tea estate, which will add
beautiful aroma and experiences to your days tours. Overnight at Hotel
in Thekkady.
Day 04 : Thekkady - Kumarakom
Morning after breakfast proceed to Kumarakom. Reach & check-in at
the hotel and relax for a while amidst the comforts of your room.
Kumarakom is one of the few places in the world where the means for
transportation is through boats. The major attraction of Kumarakom is
Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary which lies at the edge of the grounds of an old
estate where a profusion of all kinds of birds can be observed.
Domestic birds such as cuckoo, wild duck, egrets, darters, herons, teal,
and water fowl can be seen in abundance here, and the Siberian storks
which migrate to this place each year. Overnight at Hotel in Kumarakom
Day 05 : Kumarakom - Alleppey
After breakfast checkout and proceed to Alleppey, This town is
considered to be the oldest planned town in this region and the
lighthouse built on the coast of the town is the first of its kind along
the Arabian coast. Referred to as the Venice of the East, Alappuzha has
always enjoyed an important place in the maritime history of Kerala.
Today, it is famous for its boat races, backwater holidays, beaches,
marine products and coir industry. Alappuzha beach is a popular picnic
spot. Check into the houseboat on arrival (check in time 12.00 Noon).
Enjoy the day with a backwater cruise on the Vembanad Lake. Overnight
stay is on the houseboat.
Day 06 : Cochin Depature
Morning at leisure on House Boat experience the pollution free air and
after a good breakfast at 09:00 am check out from houseboat and we drop
you at Cochin - Airport / Railway station for your onward journey.
